Vancouver Flood Restoration and Emergency Repairs specializes in rapid response water damage mitigation, structural drying, and complete restoration services available 24/7 throughout the Lower Mainland.
Our invoicing operates on a time and material basis, with documentation that can include scopes, labour reconciliations, equipment and material reconciliations, and sub-trade invoices where applicable.
We work with major insurance providers and can accommodate program-specific rates when those rates and claim parameters are provided within three business days of claim confirmation.
Billing Information
- Labour charges include drive time and are rounded to the nearest half hour.
- Hazmat rates apply to mold, lead, and sewage work.
- Fuel surcharge applies to all emergency projects.
- Contractor fee is variable by project type.
- Payment is due upon receipt; 2% monthly interest applies to unpaid invoices.
- Emergency water-damage call-out: $500 minimum. Non-emergency new-client, quote, or inspection call-out: $250 minimum.
- $500 deposit may apply to Emergency Service Call-Outs when confirmed at booking.
- Visa and MasterCard are accepted up to $1,000; amounts over $1,000 are subject to a 3% surcharge.

True water-damage emergencies where crews must divert or redeploy immediately, including active flooding, burst pipe migration, Category 3 sewage, sprinkler or storm ingress, habitability risk, after-hours, weekends, statutory holidays, and urgent mid-shift dispatches.
Flood Restoration - Non-Emergency Call-Out
Scheduled new-client intake, quotation walkthroughs, and inspections.
Anti-Microbial Solution Application
Professional antimicrobial treatment to help prevent mold and bacterial growth. $30.00 minimum for areas under 120 SF.
Fuel Surcharge (Per Vehicle Per Visit)

Emergency Labour Surcharges
Premium labour applies when crews respond outside normal hours, on weekends/statutory holidays, or to contaminated Category 3 losses.
Weekend & Statutory Holiday Flood Response
Applies to Saturday, Sunday, and statutory holiday mitigation work. Final rate depends on the crew role required, from support labour through skilled or hazmat labour.
Overnight Emergency Dispatch
Applies to urgent night response where crews are dispatched after normal business hours for active flooding, water extraction, drying setup, containment, or emergency supervision.
Category 3 Water / Sewage Response
Applies to sewage, grossly contaminated water, biohazard cleanup, or losses requiring PPE, containment, controlled demolition, specialized cleaning, and hazard handling.
After-Hours Water Extraction Specialist
Emergency extraction labour for urgent water removal outside regular business hours. Equipment, disposal, supplies, and call-out minimums are billed separately.
After-Hours Field Supervisor / Project Manager
Applies when emergency site coordination, documentation, insurance communication, crew direction, or safety oversight is required outside regular business hours.
High-Risk or Specialized Emergency Labour
Used for unusually hazardous, contaminated, confined, complex, or overnight work where specialized personnel and safety protocols are required.

Regular Interior Demolition
Non-emergency interior removal for dry materials without active water migration, sewage, mold, or special containment requirements.
Post-Flood Selective Demolition & Drywall Cutting
Controlled openings and removals after a water loss, including drywall cuts, baseboards, flooring, insulation exposure, and access work needed for drying or inspection.
Emergency Post-Flood Demolition
Applies when demolition is required urgently to stop water migration, expose wet assemblies, prevent mold growth, or make the structure safe during evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, or active emergency response.
Category 3 / Sewage-Impacted Demolition
Applies to contaminated demolition involving sewage, grossly contaminated water, biohazard conditions, PPE, containment, double-bagging, controlled handling, sanitizing, and specialized disposal.
Hazardous or Suspect Material Demolition
Applies when asbestos, lead, mold, contaminated insulation, structural instability, or other hazards are present or suspected. Testing, abatement, containment, and third-party reports may be required before work proceeds.
Demolition Labourer
Standard demolition labour for planned work. Emergency, contaminated, or after-hours conditions are billed at the applicable premium category.
Demolition Operator
Heavy equipment or specialized demolition operation where required by the project scope.
Debris Removal
Removal and hauling of demolition debris. Contaminated, wet, heavy, or regulated waste may require separate handling and disposal charges.
